Last video I shared the unhinged things I do for freedom, and the response I kept getting was some version of: okay, but I’m not you, and I’m not starting where you started.
Fair enough. So this is the harder version. If someone took the whole lot off me tomorrow, the land, the van, the eighteen years of figuring it out, and dropped me back at zero, this is exactly what I’d do. And I’d get there faster, because I now know which bits were a complete waste of my time.
We’re covering the one thing that matters more than income, why I’d get rid of my stuff before anything else, giving it a year instead of forever, what I actually think about debt (which is less strict than most people online), learning to reach people online, having more than one way to earn, leaving before comfort gets its hooks in, why I’d keep interrupting my own routine, learning to disappoint people kindly, the trap of getting too free, and how to check the life you’re chasing is actually yours.
That last one and the one about loneliness are the two I’ve never really said out loud before.
