<h2>Breakthroughs Solving our Plastic Waste Problem!</h2> Plastic is one of the biggest material science breakthroughs of our lifetime. Plastic is so good at so many things, in fact, it’s SO GOOD, that it’s surprisingly difficult to deal with at the end of life. This has lead to a slew of problems, but there’s some good news. Today I want to share the story of 2 companies tackling the plastic waste issue head on. One of the Ocean Cleanup, a company that has highlighted where most of our plastic waste is entering our oceans, and is tackling it at its source! The second is Aduro a company we’ve covered before, that has a novel new approach to plastic recycling.
