Hothouse Earth and an Ice-Free Arctic Sea. Starting in 2030?
When will we lose all the sea ice from the Arctic Ocean? It’s a question our climate scientists and oceanographers have been working on for many years. Nobody can say for sure, but a brand new research paper suggests the very first day when we could see an ice-free Arctic Ocean might be less than FIVE years away.
