Why WRECKED EVs are sold for FAR Higher Prices than Wrecked ICE Cars
Wrecked electric vehicles are selling for much higher prices than wrecked gas cars, largely because their battery packs, motors, and control modules retain significant resale value even after severe damage. Salvage buyers and repair shops see EVs as valuable sources of rare, expensive components—especially batteries that can be reused, recycled, or repurposed for energy storage systems.
