A look at the COVID-19 lockdown impact on the Environment

South Africa is on a 21-day lockdown in the fight against the spread of COVID-19. In some parts of the world, the drop in air pollution is attributed to this virus and scientists are carrying out studies to link the two. This they say is because the lockdown has forced factories, markets, shops, and places of worship to be closed as well as most public transport suspended putting construction work on hold.
