EU provides $7.5m for Renewable Energy projects
Sweden has today announced a $7.5 Million loan for Uganda’s renewable energy program, which it says will be drawn through a local commercial bank effective July. Per Lindgarde, the Ambassador of Sweden to Uganda, who was signing off an undertaking with State Minister of Energy Simon Dujanga, also cautioned on the need for sustainability.
